Peterson’s latest LED innovations

Lighting specialist Peterson Europe has recently added to its LED product portfolio for commercial applications.

“Peterson Europe are constantly working closely in partnership with customers to provide solutions to meet their ongoing needs and demands and as we move forward with technological advancements, we look to introduce improvements in design, safety, practicality and cost,” said the company.

The range includes the SL-107XX series Combination R65 LED Directional & Marker Light, which combines a six-diode R65 flashing amber LED warning light with outer ECE marker / position light, available in amber, red and white.

Available for the front, side and rear of vehicle, these units are multi-voltage (10-30Vdc), IP68 rated, 14 selectable flash patterns and multiple units can be synchronised to flash simultaneously or alternate.

As an alternative to the standard black surround, optional flanges are available in white or chrome.

The main benefit to customers in installing these combination lights is fitting time, says Peterson, with one unit instead of two, and the functionality of both. The lights are suitable for fitment across HGV, PSV, LCV and other applications.

Another new safety-enhancing product that has been introduced recently by Peterson is the SL-1047X series, four-diode LED directional warning light.

“Certified to R65 in amber and also available in red and blue, this low-profile light offers performance, modern styling and a number of features,” said the company.

“It is fully sealed against moisture and dust ingress and meets both IP67 and IP69K ratings.

“Fitted with 4 high power LEDs, this surface mount unit offers a class-beating light output.”

With its aluminium body and housing, it is resistant to humidity and vibration, says the firm, and is offered with multiple selectable flash patterns. Measuring 73x55x14mm, the compact light is designed to suit a variety of applications for both original build and aftermarket use.

“With a three-year warranty, this innovative product is proving very popular in the marketplace due to its sheer simplicity and stylish yet robust looks,” added Peterson.
